Ok so there are a couple things my car is doing...i have a remote start on it and about a month ago after it got real cold (below 0) I went to start the car and when I had the key in the ignition and tried to start it it would barely even light up but wouldn't even try to start over. After about 10 seconds (after you've taken the keys out) the thing would just try to start, like 10 times. We finally got it jumped after about 35 mins and after numours attempts to start it and it doing the same thing with it trying to start and all. Now it is just completely dead. The inside doesn't light up, we've had the battery charger on it and nothing. We've changed batteries and nothing. I'm sure I need new plugs (I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it) I just put a new starter on it less then 3 months ago....any ideas....if so whats the average cost (a guesstimate is fine) for a shop to do it?

You just need a new battery.

If that doesn't work, check your fuses.

take it to auto zone. have them test the alternator or battery.
also try cleaning the battery cables (the bolt looking things)
alternator puts juice back in the battery.

start the car and push on the gas, if your lights dim, it's the alternator.
