The last month or so, I have noticed that on position 205 (Montreal CTV) the local news has been having problems with the audio breaking up, but only during taped news segments. The sound would cut in and out continually and only restore once the live anchor was back on. This was only happening during the local news at noon and six o'clock and not on regular scheduled network broadcasts. I was getting extremely annoyed as I didn't know if it was a Bell satellite problem or the local station.
Low and behold last night on the news at 6, CTV actually reported there was a problem for Bell satellite users, and announced many customers were calling to complain. CTV said this problem was affecting only Bell TV customers, and not cable customers and said they were working on the problem.
