Does anyone else have problems with FAMS violating FDCPA?
I am trying to get a list of more people who have an issue with these collectors violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Please let me know if you have problems with them harassing you, unnecisarily calling places of employment and saying things they are not supposed to say to others in regards to debt, them not wanting to promplty sending you loan documents federal law states they are required to send for verification before continuing collection attempts, ect. Please note, I don't have any problem paying a debt that I owe, and I am just trying to help out a friend however, there are certain laws, guidlines and regulations that collectors have to obide and far too many get away with scamming people out of far more money than they actually owe. So that being said, you don't know the whole story so I don't care to see "pay your bills" BS, serious answers only please!!!
