I'm a high school senior who has been throwing discus for 4 years now. For me my foot work is not problem its my arms, i have a tendency to scoop or golf swing or dip my throwing arm. in all my 4 years i've never been able solve this problem. for some reason i don't do this when i stand throw or power throw but only when i spin. i do have the hip drive but it doesn't seem to matter if i'm scooping my arm all the time. i throw about 125-135 but that isn't enough to get me a guaranteed spot in section finals. any suggestions?
