Problems with Birthdays

Please help. I have a Palm T/X and whenever i fill in a Birthday in the contacts I get a reminder 5 days before and an entry in my to do list. I only want and need the entry in my contacts to figure in the date book and nowhere else. Please tell me this is possible.

You could put the birthdays in the Calendar as repeating events (every year) instead of in Contacts.

Thank you. It surprised me though that there does not seem to be a way of stopping it. Currently on a date where there is a birthday the information is given twice. It is not useful.

Remove it from the Contact, and you'll only see it as a recurring event in Calendar.
