problems with bbc iplayer on jailbroken iphone 3g?

hi, ive recently installed bbc iplayer on my iphone, my phone has the latest os 3.1.2&is jailbroken, the iplayer does start up,but when i click on a programme to watch it doesnt do anything??? im quite good with sorting problems on the iphone...but this one has me stumped! any help please.
