so it stalls at lights unless your giving it alittle bit of gas? Sounds like you idle air control valve is broke and isnt letting enough air in to keep the car running at idle...its a fairly cheap part and shouldnt be hard to get to or change out

My husband has a 1991 Dodge Caravan 3.3 Liter. It has ran fine with no problems for years. Yesterday he went out to go to work and it would start but not stay running unless you continually pumped the gas. The air cleaner is good, fuel filter on less than a month as regular maintenance. He has cleaned the battery terminals. Catalytic converter less than 2 years old. Fuel Pump is engaging and running. Can you give me advice as where to look next?
We cant drive it because it wont stay running long enough to put into gear!

yeah the idle air control valve is cheap and a cheap fix. How many miles on that Dodge beast?
