I have a 2007 Honda civic when I cycle through modes on my stereo i am unable to get auxiliary to come up which is what I use for my ipod as the front console has a jack that allows me to just plug it in and switch to aux to hear my ipod. I used auxiliary exclusively and before it completely went unavailable its access would go in and out I thought it was the connecting cord from the ipod to the jack but I tried another more expensive fancy cord and it still didn't work.
