problems when turning phone on/off

Ok so anytime I turn my phone off and then back on again, certain widgets either are removed or no longer downloaded correctly to the phone, why does that happen?

Also my other non gmail email will no longer allow me to look at the email on my phone. I can see that one has been recieved, but I can't view the content anymore.

Any help with these would be great.
 
Android 2.1? Your fecked =p

just kidding. Did u manually update it or anything? What about homescreen, are u using other than default? I found pandahome2 screwed with my milestone. It messed around with my camera a bit. After uninstalling and 1 hour later, phone returned to normal.
