First thing I must note is I am a person who has trouble with change. I graduated from my high school this year and am now attending Towson University. In high school you could say i was one of the "popular" kids. I played sports, had a lot of friends, won a senior superlative (which apparently meant you were popular and is the only reason i said that i was). Everyday I loved going to school and seeing everyone. I loved everyone and i felt awesome being in a community like high school. My high school was average size, about 1400 kids. But then i graduated and I didn't feel right. I wasn't ready to leave i loved high school too much. I missed the good days hanging out with my friends all day and night then seeing them in school the next day. Now that i'm in college all i can think about is the old days. I have a good amount of friends at college, it just isn't the same for me. All day I think about how awesome it was being in high school with all my friends, and how my new college friends aren't even comparable to my old friends, and how I had so much more fun at home. Every weekend I go home and see my friends that still live at home or friends that are still in high school. I just can't accept the fact that life is different, even though I have much more fun going home on the weekends, it still doesn't feel right even when i'm home. It has gotten bad to the point where I am pretty sure I am going to commute next semester. Can anyone give me some advice that would help me out? Even just telling me your story would really be appreciated. Thanks!
