Whenever I try to get to family settings through the 360, and go to Xbox LIVE Controls, it makes me sign in with gamertag, and after that, the Windows live ID sign-in screen pops up, but before I can enter anything, I get this error message: "Can't Connect to Xbox LIVE. Please try again later. For more info go to www.xbox.com/support." After I hit ok, it just takes me back to the screen before the sign-in.
Before you say anything, I CAN connect to LIVE in any other way, I can play online games, I can send messages, voice chat, and all that stuff. But it seems no matter where I go on my 360, when i'm asked for my windows live ID, it gives me this error message. I tried going to the support page they give, but no dice there. I also tried getting to the live controls through the xbox website, but when I get to the page, it just tells me it's unavailable. Also, the windows on each blade, which if i'm guessing correctly, are suppose to show ads for new content on LIVE, just say "Xbox Live" with nothing else there. I'm guessing this might have something to do with the screwy family controls. I would normally ignore this kind of thing, but it's finally starting to get in my way, saying the controls don't allow this type of rating, when downloading certain movies or demos, even though I've downloaded other things with the same ratings before.
