problem with sim reading

G'day i have a 6101 and its stoped reading the sim card.. the phone just say insert sim.
any idea's on what to do??
help please:)
 
thanks man but iv tryed all that sort of stuff swaped sims incase the sim stopped working cleaned sim and sim reader so im out of ideas

If none of that works, hopefully its less than a year old, and THAT is covered by warranty, as long as it has no water damage or major physical damage. if over a year old, hopefully you have insurance.....

thanks man ya iv sent it in to be looked at and it water damage its costing $90au to fix lucky i got it off ebay for $30 but the bloke said in perfect con exept sim slot not read cards. but anyway its being done now
