problem with my suzuki skywave (burgman) motorcycle...?

I have a Suzuki Skywave (also called burgman) motorcycle 250 cc type M 2007 which is tiptronic. the motor that changes gears is heating up for some reason, and no longer does its job!! when I hook up the scanner it gives me "1861 motor system malfunction".
I googled it and found this:
(P1861: Transmission Transfer Case Contact Plate 'D' Short Circuit To Ground )
Can anyone help me with this problem.
