i have a problem with my siamese fighting fish ....i think its gonna die...hmm...let it ..ill buy a new one but i want to know how to keep a fighter fish in my house nicely ...i keep it in my bowl with some pebbles and feed it with only 3-4 pellets .....and usually my lil bro kills mousqito's and feeds it ...but i want to know what are the conditions and the environment required to grow a nice fish

minimum 5 gallon tank,
filter, best with an adjustable current, they like slow moving water else they'll tear their fins if the current is too strong.
A heater: steady temperature of about 75-80.
Good water quality ( as needed for all fish).
weekly 20% water changes (condition the new water)
Try not to overfeed, a bettas stomach is about as big as its eye, so its easy to overfeed. It's better to feed small amounts 3 times a day than feeding a large amount once a day.
The mosquitos are nice, just make sure they are bite sized and havent been in contact with pesticides, so if your bro kills them with bug spray DO NOT put them in the tank.
Thats about it i think.
If you cant be bothered with doing ALL that, prepare for a new fish every few months. Never keep a betta in a bowl

5 gallon heated, filtered tank with gravel plants and a hidey hut. absolute bare minimum.
