I can't afford an HDTV until I get my tax return so in the meantime my PS3 is hooked up to a cruddy 27 inch, crt, Sanyo from 2002. There are only two AV hook ups and they're in the front of the tv.
When I hook both video and audio to the TV I'm hearing a buzz and there is a group of light gray translucent bars that travel vertically across the screen.
When playing Little Big Planet I can hardly notice them as the game is bright but now that I'm playing BioShock they're really distracting me.
My Wii is hooked up in the same way to the same tv and it looks and sounds fine.
Could there be a problem with my PS3 or is it just because its a old CRT television? Does anyone know PS3's to have this type of problem?
I'm hoping once I get a new TV and HD hook ups it won't be a problem, but now I'm getting worried it may be the system and even a new tv won't fix it.
Any ideas?
