every time i push the gas to the floor, i get the car's rpm's rev up but seems like something is holding it back

well it shifts fine (automatic). i have replaced and changed all oils. i replaced an EGR sensor, and vacuum tested it and everything is working.
the car runs perfect. drives fine, and the only problem is when i go to "floor it" it seems something is holding the engine back, sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesnt
