I have an LG BD370C blu ray player that is about 2 years old. It is connected to a large SHARP Aquos LCD tv that is about the same age. I also own a smaller, older Sharp Aquos tv set up in another room.
The blu ray player works great when attached by HDMI cable to the smaller, older tv. However, I cannot get video or sound when it is attached in the same way to the larger TV. The large TV shows the LG logo when the blu ray player is first turned on and registers the 1080i video on the input. After that, there is nothing but a black screen. I cannot work the LG menu nor is there any sound or video from a dvd. I have tried changing the resolution settings, to no avail. I have tried a factory reset on the tv, to no avail.
I know the input and cable are working on the big tv because I can connect my laptop in the same way (same cable, same input as the blu ray) and it works fine.
Any ideas???
