Was out on the water today playing around with the tilt and the lowering started playing up, lifts no problem at all but just no response now when lowering. Replaced the dash switch but doesn't make any difference. Its a Volvo 280 Stern leg (1980s) but hydraulic pump says it suits Mercury. It has two sender units beside it, guessing one for lifting and one for lowering as we traced wires back to them. So yea it was going down but started working intermittently and now wont lower at all. Can anyone help with advise or how to fix it? Boat has new wiring throughout. Many thanks
