Problem with HID transferring from Honda Civic to Honda CR-V?

i have a pair of hid that i purchased in about September the bulb size is ( 9003) i had it in my 2000 honda civic which worked perfectly and since my crv is the same bulb size so i decided to transfer it over but it doesn't work.I know the honda element and toyota tacoma have the same problem. i believe you have to wire something but im not sure. so any information would help
