Problem with Ford Fiesta Ghia 2003 - Durashift?

Hi,

Yesterday I was driving my Ford Fiesta & a light came on whilst driving and the car seemed to come out of gear & had to stop & re-start and light light went off and could the drive the car as normal, and it was orange with a exclamation mark in the middle, different to the hand break light!

I have read my Fiesta book and the warning light means something to do with the Durashift, does anyone know what might be the problem??
 
As above, the light shows the car storing a fault code. Get it to a garage & have it diagnosed, but expect a lot more problems & some serious bills - the Fiesta & in particular the Durashift models have some pretty poor build quality & reliability.
 
One of the cars ECU sensors diagnosed a fault in the gearbox. So it had to stop to reset it self. If the car is now driving normally and the warning light is staying off. Then don't worry about it. It will be fine. However if the fault keeps reoccurring. Then you will have to get it tested at a garage.
