i am having trouble playing some .avi files. This is the thing. i had a series on a computer (windows XP) and then transferred it to and external hard drive, and then transferred that to my new computer (vista). All the files ran perfectly. Anyway...when i went to play the files in my new computer some ran and some just ran the audio. The older ones ran great on my new comp, but the newer episode didn't (just audio, like it was a music file). I updated my K lite codec pack and nothing happens. All the files run perfectly in Media Player Classic, but i don't get why some just run audio on widows media player. Any suggestion (beside viewing my video on MPC??? 
P.S. when i run my video on Widows Media Player i see the codecs that are running on right side of the task bar, the older videos run both the ffdshow aduio and video decoder, but the newer ones just run the ffdshow audio decoder, so i think its something with the codecs
