Problem with assigning ringtone (8100)

I am having a dilemma with my pearl and I only had it for 3 days now. I upgraded from the 7100, and I am loving the pearl. However, I downloaded ringtones from TZones and assigned them to a specific person. When the person calls, it is ringing a ring tone that is not even assigned anywhere, not even the default ringtone. I call tmo and spoke to a BB specialist, who concluded that it is the ringtone. The ringtone worked if it is assigned as default, just not when it is assigned to a contact. I tried different ringtones, and it just wont work when it is assigned to any of my contacts. What can I do??

Please, Do not give Tmobile any money for ringtones....you can get them for free in so many places. Try Tuneusin.com in your Blackberry Browser. Or go here...http://blackberryforums.rabroad.com/downloads.html?catid=13 Bye the Way your phone supports Mp3 format.
 
If a battery pull does not fix it (which I always have to do when setting up RTs for contacts it seems) then it probably is the RT itself. I'd get credit back for it and make your own RTs with mp3s. It's pretty easy and free.
 
Have you check in your profile settings to eliminate the possibility that one or more of the "exception" rules are not interfearing?

Thank you guys very much. The last BB specialist i spoke to recommended i return the phone for an exchange since it is less than 14days. I did so, and it is working fine now. Also, this BB has the fav5 circle on the back. The other did not. They refunded my money for their ringtones and resent them. I assigned them to people in my phonebook, and it is just fine.
