problem with a samsung tv series 850?

i bought a samsung lcd tv 850 and just a few weeks ago as soon as i start it it smears and delays the right side of the screen into 3 horizontal parts sometimes it blacks out but i can always hear the sound i dont know if anyone else has this same problem and or if anyone can help me out maybe to tell me what it could be...i am out of warrantee and it would cost 160 for a tech just to come and look at my tv any help is appreciated
