Hi,
This is my experience, just wanted to now if anyone else have found this problem and how did they resolve it. I have a iphone 2G, 3G and 3Gs that I have updated. I updated the 3G to 3.1.3 with the intension to use activate it to use Spirit to jailbreak it. But I could not get it activated with the original AT&T SIM card.
When I tried to activate it, iTunes was asking me for the phone number for the SIM and then ZIP code , registered user and social security number . I downgraded iTunes to older version 9.0 and it was the same.
I have all the original SIM cards for the carriers the phone is locked to but now iTunes is asking to verify information to activate the phone.
Has anyone experienced this and how did you resolve it.
