Ok so i have a 89 Wagon 626, 2L carbby. She runs real good specially for her age but starting her up after its been sitting, not going to well.
Anytime I leave it sitting over night or just for 8 hours or so I have to turn it over 3-4 sometimes 6 times to get it to start. Not the battery or anything cause she sounds alive as anything when I go to start, but its like theres nothing in the cyclinders to fire on at 1st, then right before the magic turn it nearly fires, then off she goes.
Idles quite high at 1st, up to 2500RPM But then once she warms up all is well and not a single problem. Oh and sometimes when its idleing high if I give it t much gas and try accelerate quick revs drop to like 200 and I nerly stall

That doesn't sound like that bad of a scenario anyway. Sounds normal to me, but the carburetor may need a little attention. If anything it could be running a little rich... maybe the float isn't quite setting in right, but it's an older car, and things wear out.
