Problem Restated

Sorry for this duplicate post. I mistated the problem with my two T3's. When I use MY T3, a specific entry is syncing properly on both handheld AND desktop using MY username and T3.
However, when I enter an entry under my WIFE's username and using her handheld, a specific entry (and this entry only) will disappear from the desktop everytime I sync............it is still on the handheld however. I can not get the desktop to hold that one specific entry. It will hold any other name, however, and sync perfectly back and forth with any other contact I enter. To say I'm confused is an understatement. All of the conduits are set properly, and I have the handheld overwriting desktop in the hot sync manager setting. Anybody have any ideas on this? Please disregard my previous posting. Thanks all.
 
A you don't stipulate the entry. Is it a contact name, a meeting or a task?

Post the hotsync log for your wife's username and let me see what might be the cause?
 
Hi, and thanks for the reply. Upon several fruitless hours trying different things, I realize that I wasn't actually having a hotsync problem, but a problem with inserting a new entry in the contacts. ANY other name I entered was ok, but when I entered one specific name/address/phone number into the contact area of the desktop, it would not hold it. It looks ok when entered and after hitting OK on the desktop, but whenever I go out of the desktop and then reenter, the entry is not there. I can put in John Doe, Joe Smith, etc. and it holds. But this one specific entry won't hold. I can not logic this one out. To confuse it more, it is listed properly on the handheld, but will not sync to the desktop. I can put Joe Smith as a new entry on the handheld, and it syncs fine to the desktop. Gosh, I love these damn computers.
