A couple of days ago, there was a glitch in a theme being used from the memory card. Some apps and stuff also from the card refused to work. So I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the apps to the memory card. But PC Suite came up with the error message 'operation failed'. It installs fine to phone memory. PC Suite's File Manager also does not seem able to access the card. The MMC in a card reader seems to work fine.
Things I have tried:
1. Formatted the card.
2. Reset the phone after backup and restored the phone memory.
I am trying out another memory card, but since the old one seems to work fine in the reader, I will have a tough time with the vendor. If a new card also has the same problem, what could be wrong? Some corrupted file on the phone? Or a hardware problem? I shudder at the thought of sending the phone to Nokia service.
Any ideas / suggestions? TIA.
