My desktop after a move suddenly lost all datebook entries before 4/13/11--nothing else went wrong. I hotsynced, using handheld overwrites desktop, only to find that I had no entries in either desktop or handheld. My handheld's battery was completely dead and had apparently lost the entries. On recharge the data did not return.
I have regularly exported the datebook data as "unfiled.DBA" to another drive, so I imported this file to my desktop program. It was 1.8mb while the near empty "datebook.dat" was 9.1 mb. The message after import said that many entries would not be seen 'in this view'.
My question is how to use the dba file to replace my lost data.
Thanks
Bill
