...light meter is faulty is? 0.04.
In a quality control process, each meter is checked and either accepted or rejected. For a faulty meter the probability that it will be rejected is 0.84. For a meter with no faults the probability that it will be rejected is 0.01.
Find the probability that
i) a randomly chosen meter will be faulty and will be accepted
ii)a randomly chosen meter will be accepted
iii) a randomly chosen meter will be faulty, given that the quality control process rejects it.
I got
i) 0.0064
ii) 0.9568
iii) 0.0336
Not sure if they are right! Any help would be great
