Proactive?

I've been using proactive for close to 6 months now and up until 2 weeks ago my face was blemish-free!
I now have huge welts and bumps(future welts) on my cheekbones and chin. My question is does proactive stop working after a period of time? It's been working so well for me and now I'm feeling so depressed!
I should also metion that it is summer here and I've been out at the beach quite alot-using sunscreen ect...is this the cause of the breakout?
Any help would be much appriciated!

All I know is that I use Proactiv, and I've been using it for a while. Recently, it quit working on me. My zits came back.

Sunscreen has never really caused me to break out. I use oil-free sunscreen on my face, maybe you should too.
