What is the code to update PRL's? I looked on google and all I could find is *228 and that doesn't work.

*228 updates the roaming capabilities of the phone. I'm 99.99% sure that updates the PRL.

*228 Send then choose option 2

*228 (*BAM for Bell Atlantic Mobile) is the PRL update line. Option 2 loads the newest PRL for your device and plan.

If you are divested and roaming on Verizon *228 does not work. You have to edit the settings to force the phone to Sprint to update the prl. Forcing the phone to Sprint by using *228xx wont work.

If you are retained (getting a Verizon bill now) and have an old prl thats got you roaming on Sprint, you can use *22800, *22801 to for the phone to Verizon and update the prl.

I'm getting divested to ATT. But I'm going on a trip to Georgia and last time I was there I had really bad service, and was hoping that updating the PRLs when I am down there would help me out

*228 is for *ACT or Activate, the letter "M" is on the 6 key

Yikes, you're right. I forgot what *226 gets you to, maybe that was CS back in the day!
