Prior Active Army to National Guard...Good Idea?

I was in the Active Army and I got out, joined the National Guard for a year. I got out so I could raise my little girl, and now I feel as if the timing is right to go back in. Only the Active Army is not taking prior service only for critical MOS's. I was wondering if the National Guard has the same rules as the Active component, by not taking prior?
