I'm in year 12 and need to start thinking about what i want to do when i finish, and i want to get a degree in education - but i'm not sure which grade(s) i want to teach...
Option A: Primary education - my motivation here is that little kids are really cute and it would be a lot of fun. My older sister (this is actually her account!) did primary education at uni and she loved it (and i also kind of know what to expect)
A degree in primary education (and experience with children) would also help because i really want to teach in America and/or help out at summer camps overseas at some point in the future (my mum did this while working through her degree back in the day!) ...
Option B: High school education in Food Technology and/or (Modern) History
Both of these subjects interest me and they're the ones that i do the best in IE first in my grade..
At my school everyone loves the teachers who are like friends to the students and i really like that you would be able to form more of a bond with high school students than primary.
What do you think?
