FYI, the New Yorker just published a good article about prescription drug prices (Feb. 5, 2010). The Prilosec-to-Nexium progression is highlighted. This is essentially what my ENT also told me when he encouraged me to give the Prilosec time before jumping on the Nexium bandwagon. Nexium was one of the all-time greatest marketing coups in pharmaceutical history.
