Hey fellow stackers! First of all I have to say this is the best help site for phones and such... ever...I have been a lurker at this site forever and decided that the Pearl is for me so I made an account, and I will be getting one sometime before the summer. I have been asking around town about the Pearl and it seems like an awesome unit.

I want the plan that offers 300 WHENEVER minutes and UNLIMITED weekends, but not nights. If I remember correctly that is $29.99

Also I wanted to add unlimited text and internet/data, Here is where my problem is. I have heard different prices for unlimited text and the unlimited data/email/internet plan.

I thought this would be my total but I have heard it will be more!

Minutes Plan- 29.99
Texting Plan- 14.99
Data Plan - 19.95

For about $65 a month, is this correct or do I have pricing wrong?

my plan is the myfaves with 300 minutes. Along with unlimited txt, data, e-mail, and internet.

My bill is about $80 a month. The myfaves 300 is 39.99.

I think you have the pricing right though. the myfaves 300 comes with unlimited nights too by the way.

I have the following:

MyFaves 300 $39.99
BlackBerry BIS AddOn $19.99
Unlimited Domestic Text, IM, and Picture Messages $14.99

With Equipment Protection ($5.99), taxes, fees, etc. I'm paying around $80 per month.

Hey thanks Erica seems to be the same thing with Blues too so my bill will be about $10 less than that. When you said BIS that is not connected with a Blackberry business server, correct?

BIS-BlackBerry Internet Service-personal use plan

BES-BlackBerry Enterprise Server-used at a workplace that has this server installed and configured.

As most of you may (or may not) know there is a brand new pricing war between the GSM carriers T-Mobile & AT&T.

If ever there was a time to check ones rate plan, now is the time. I called my carrier AT&T and by simply doing a little negotiating they lowered my monthly bill by $20. Then I called T-Mo who I also have an account with and did the same thing. A banner day today!

So I mentioned this to my friend who's on T-Mo and he called in with the same great result.

Three Cheers to these two great companies!

There is also the TMobile blackberry and minutes plan which comes with 1000 whenever minutes, unlimited email/data and text... But no mms or niht/weekend minutes for 59.99

Greetings Pearl Fiend, Welcome to rabroads!

I would encourage you to go to their web site. The plans will be listed very clearly there & you will be able to confirm the details you seek.

Also bear in mind that the rates are subject to change, especially during this time of great competition. There is a big push on to do whatevers needed to gain subscribers by luring them away from other carriers due to market saturation.

In the many years I've been involved I find T-Mobile to be one of the first to cut pricing & offer great deals. This is one of those times, therefore I would suggest that you act as soon as you can.

Cheers

what exactly did you tell tmo? all the times i talked to them about getting a discount because i was thinking of disconnecting my line, they just asked me if i'd like to disconnect it right now. never offered me anything in the 4 years i've been with them.

My plan of attack would be to say that one carrier offered me a lower monthly bill and I was thinking about switching both of my accounts onto the other carrier.

You can't threaten with a disconnect.

However, you can pull a "peachey". My friend's dad owns half of a car brake service company. Every time something happens, my friend goes to a sprint store to do whatever needs to be done, and if it won't get done, he threatens to move all of the company accounts to a different carrier.
