i recently moved house, not realising the back garden was ours, as we have a front, side and back garden. anyway, the back garden is massive. I was thinking of digging a pond of about 2m long, 1m wide and im pretty sure 4 ft in the minimum depth in scotland (due to winter, i think ice freezes down to 3 ft)
i just want a basic pond, nothing to complicated. no river flows or anything. (though that would be nice)
just whichever way is cheapest... im guessing just a plain rectangle shape, dug out hole, but the liner and then cemented over? and how much would it cost to get a pump/filter installed?
my mate can do all this for me, for pretty much nothing as he loves designing/building ponds.
i dont want cost of labour, just materials.
cool, $500 is like £420 here or something, and thats fine for me. its not for koi, its for small fish like rudd and roach. maybe a tench.
