I just recently got my i860 for Christmas from my boyfriend, which found out you can get any nextel on a discount if your company has a bunch of phones with Nextel. He found out he got 30% off the phone & 10% off the bill. Which will add up eventually.

Check into that in case a family member or someone else you know has a company that uses nextel... they may be able to purchase the phone for you on a discount.

i am a pre-existing customer with nextel and my contract is up, but the new plans arent better than what i have now, (they put limits on all the text msging, web browser services, etc etc,) so i purchased my phone without a contract for $325.00 shipped NIB with sim, 0 minutes on life timer of the phone =) good deal or no?
