prevacid vs kapidex

Hi everyone...
Anyone every been on prevacid and it became less effective, and went to their dr, who put them on Kapidex....My dr says its different, but last night my pharmacist said its basically the same,,,,he explained the whole process and compared it to the prilosec/nexium when their patent ran out.
I just would love to hear from anyone who has had success with Kapidex when Prevacid failed.

The pharmacist is right - but, you have nothing to lose by trying.

Zantac in high doses (say 300mg twice a day) might be somthing else worth asking your doctor about.
 
I had taken several different drugs for my Gerd over the past 3 years, and nothing relieved it completely. Kapidex works great! No reflux, no heartburn or chest pain.
