what was the actual reason for the change/new Rx,the tylenol content? is the amount Rxed per day changed or what are you averageing per day. the tylenol amount can make a big difference if you are needing this much more often. THAT changes the whole picture,you know what i mean?
there is an actual 'safe' limit of tylenol intake that is 4000mgs per day for "occasional" usage and it goes down to only 3000mgs for chronic daily usage. if you are using this daily,well the tylenol aspect would be reason enough to make the pharm and the ins co happy. alot depends upon the reason for the change. but this IS a new Rx too,and should be treated as such. i would take it to the pharmacy since your doc obviously wanted this change for whatever reason. please let us know how things go. good luck, FB
