1.how many moles of Cu2+ are produced from 1.0 g of copper foild with excess nitric acid (HNO3)
2. how many grams of metallic copper are required to react with the number of moles of Cu2+ calculated in (#1 question)to form CuCl
3. what is the maximum mass of CuCl that can be prepared from the reaction sequence of this experiment using 1.0g of Cu turnings to prepare the Cu2+ Solution
I calculated the first answer to be .157 or .16, I just don't know how to do #2 or #3. I need help and an explanation, not just an answer. I am so confused...HELP!!
