(Catholic question!)? So I'm doing this prayer, for everyone that doesn't know, and it spans over 33 days.
I was doing this with my fiance and his family, and we forgot to do it before midnight tonight. We are almost at the second week and we can't start over. You have to start 34 days away from a Marian holiday, because the 34th day is when you consecrate yourself.
Anyone who has done this before, can you tell me whether you have to do this during the day as in the 24 hour period day, or more like a day as in from when you wake up until you get to sleep? I really need to know...like...now...thanks to anyone who can help me!
Well the thing is I've never done a prayer like this before.
My fiances sister is going to a very Catholic college where she did this with her dorm hall, and I thought I vaguely remembered her saying you absolutely cannot miss a day, or you have to wait until the next time it starts which will be...Feb. 22 I want to say...
So I mean it's not the end of the world or anything, I can do it again, it's just, it is a lengthly prayer. I'm already two weeks into it...and I'm kinda sad about it. Plus I was so excited and can't wait to do it! Good time to practice the virtue of patience? lol^^
You do have to do each day though. You cannot skip a day. Even if you could you wouldn't want too. The readings connect together, so you'd be missing out on a lot.
