I'll be going for an all-you-can-eat buffet on Thursday evening, from 5-10pm. I'm interested in testing out my theory for maximizing my hunger and hence appetite for that period of time (will be pigging out). Can anyone who has some clue regarding bodily functions please comment on the steps I would be taking? Thanks.
1) On Wednesday afternoon I will do about an hour's cardio with some HIIT on an empty stomach. Hopefully depleting my glycogen levels, I would head home and take about 40g of chicken breast with some green tea.
2) My water fast starts.
3) At about 8pm, some resistance exercise [2x20 seated calves, 3x6 GHR, Squats to failure (most likely a couple sets of 40 with a relatively light weight]). Sip on some green tea again and rehydrate.
4) Next morning (Thu), an hour or so's worth of stair climbing, then home to shower and get body temperature as low as possible to prepare for the buffet.
Is my regime feasible provided I keep it within sane levels? I was thinking the rather intense weight workout on Wed night would have my stomach dying to ingest protein rich foods, and the cardio on Thu morning would lower blood sugar (within limits) to a point of boosting appetite to disproportionate levels lol.
I thought about that actually. I was looking up how the pros do it and Joey Chestnut apparently fasts for 2-3 days. I figured I'd do the same and load up on water so my stomach don't shrink as much?
