prepaid international sim w bb service

I am going to be out of the country for a couple of months.

I am getting TMO to unlock my 8800 so I can use an international [local] sim.

I will suspend my service with TMO while I am away/.

Is it possible to still have blackberry functionality with a prepaid int'l sim?

any recommendations how to do this?

As far as i have heard there is no prepaid service anywhere that has BB service. What's more, to get the BB to work on another network with another sim you would need to get the PIN released from your current carrier and then added back in to RIM's network attached to the new carrier with the new sim. Not saying that it cannot be done it just sometimes takes longer to get it straitened out then you are out of the country. Hope it helps clarify some things. Good travels.
