Ok, my husband received the car as a gift (used w/ 150k miles on it). He put 11k miles himself on it and has been using regular gas on it.
He's been having problems with it (catalytic converter replaced, new oxygen sensor, service light engine keeps coming on) could this be due to him using regular gas?
He looked on the door to the gas valve and it says this car needs premium no lead gasoline.
Does it make a difference? If so, what would the difference be in him using premium VS regular? (besides price)
He just discovered that it needs premium today. We already replaced the converter ($$). His family member didnt tell us it only takes premium, maybe he used regular himself?
