Premium Extended Coverage includes...?

Just went to my account online and added the PEC option to my $45 plan (seemed like the thing to do). Then I took a peek at the FAQs about it (tried to look for some here on the forums) and developed a bit of doubt. So what exactly does PEC include? i.e. If I go to Los Angeles, will txt/mms/web work?

Thanks in advance. :D

PS: The $45 plan changed recently? Looks like new accounts won't get unlimited web access? (will that affect me? =/)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but PEC is coverage in areas now that Cricket customers used to roaming. SMS will work, but I think MMS and Wap will not in the PEC areas.

As far as the WAP w/ the $45 plan, aslong as you had it on there when you first started that plan, it will not be changed it is grandfathered in. It's just the current $45 plan is no longer offering unlimited WAP, unless you change your current rate paln.

Kapish?

I think he was asking what services would work in PEC. As of right now, in MOST PEC markets/areas only Voice and SMS will work. LA is definately one of those markets that only SMS and Voice will work. There will be NO Data coverage for WAP or MMS service.

edit: there is a handful of areas that data services will work in, but definately not Metro serviced areas YET
