Premature baby debate. Thoughts?

I have also see this discussion in the US. Opinions?
 
This is a touchy subject because my twins were born at 24weeks. They were in the NICU and ended up passing two days after they were born....
It's hard...i wouldn't have been able to see them suffer for all their lives, but i wouldn't have wanted to end their lives.
I'm not sure if i agree with purposly ending their lives, but then again, i wouldn't want my child to have severe issues growing up that wouldn't allow them to do day to day functions.
 
that's very hard decision to make. i think the decision should be left up to the parents after they have been given the statistics.
