pregnant & sharp pains during sex.?

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and whenever I have sex I get really sharp pains like right under my bellybutton & right after we quit I have really bad cramps..they feel like period cramps. Idk if this is something I should get checked out..or if it's normal.
