Hey, yahoo answers!
I've researched for quite a while what to expect in a pregnant dogs, but there still are some gaps to fill in...
I've heard of whelping boxes (we kind of made something like that at home), and we let her sniff around and she was in the room where the bed was.
Will she need a C-Section? She is a Jack Russel Terrier.(I know you are not mind-readers either but is it tougher with JRTs?)
Nobody really knows where the dog is going to have the puppies, because we are not dog whisperers or mind-readers. Our prediction is that she is going to have them in the bed. She is supposed to have them in 2 days, which would make that Sunday. We have lots of blankets and towels that she can use.
Now, one more question.
Should I touch the puppies? Wipe them? I have seen people do that. Should I move them to the mother's nipples?
And how will I know besides taking her temperature when she's ready?
