Pregnant despite negative tests?

My husband and I have been having unprotected sex for about 4 months (hoping to get pregnant), and I haven't had my period since April. I have taken multiple pregnancy tests, and they have come up negative, although I haven't had my period yet. Is there a chance that I could be pregnant despite the negative tests? I would go to the doctor for a blood test, but I am waiting for our new insurance to kick in.
Does this happen?

yes, there is such thing as a false negative.

how often are you taking the tests?
one every week? ..one everyday?
i suggest you take a test once every two weeks. just to give your husbands swimmers time to work their magic, and to save some money on tests.

dont worry, it'll happen sooner or later.
it took my parents two whole years of trying before they finally concieved me, their firstborn.

It happened to me. It turned out that my eggs were not maturing, therefore not getting fertilized. So to make a long story short, we had to go see a fertility doctor to help us get pregnant. Once you get the blood test and if it comes out negative, have your obgyn recommend a fertility specialist. Sometimes trying to hard stresses our bodies out too. Relax, and enjoy. The best part is trying.
