pregnant and burning during and after sex?

I am 10 weeks pregnant and I had sex this morning, it always burns a little when he enters, then its usually fine. Today it only mildly burned but then he ejaculated inside of me and it BURNED really bad! Sometimes his sperm tends to irritate me. I did call my midwife and she said it was probably a reaction to his sperm and to take a bath with baking soda, which helped a little. Does anyone have any advice on what to do about the burning?

ziggy is right. it sounds like a yeast infection. i rinse w/ 1 part vinegar, 3-4 parts warm water and it helps w/ any itchiness, burning, or discomfort. plus, i've added yogurt to my daily diet that has active cultures in it to help balance the ph down there. sorry, i'm 30w3d and i just experienced this two weeks ago. most likely when you go to your ob, he will not prescribe you over the counter or prescription meds, it will probably be really mild and he will say that you won't need to treat it. that's the response i got! good luck!
